Max hovers around normal in Pb, Haryana

Maximum temperature today hovered around normal level even as rain lashed few places in Punjab and Haryana.
In Punjab, Ludhiana recorded rainfall at 13 mm while maximum settled at 33.5 deg C, Met Office here said.
Amritsar and Patiala recorded a high of 34.6 deg C and 31.6 deg C respectively.
In Haryana, Ambala and Hisar had a high of 31.8 deg C and 34.1 deg C, down by a degree below normal level.
Narnaul and Bhiwani recorded maximum at 32 deg C and 34.4 deg C.
UT Chandigarh recorded maximum at 31.7 deg C with rainfall at 1.2 mm.

MeT in its forecast said moderate to heavy rain may lash many places in Punjab and Haryana in next 48 hours.
