Max temperatures hover close normal levels in Pb, Haryana

Maximum temperatures today stayed close to the normal in most parts of Punjab and Haryana.

Union Territory Chandigarh, the joint capital of both the states, registered its maximum at 34.8 degrees Celsius, as per a MeT department report.

Among other places in Haryana, Ambala, Hisar, Karnal recorded their respective maximums at 34.3, 36.5 and 33.8 degrees Celsius.

In Punjab, Amritsar's maximum settled at 34 degrees Celsius while Ludhiana and Patiala recorded maximum temperatures of 35.2 and 35.1 degrees Celsius respectively.
