Maximum temperatures hover close to normal in Haryana, Punjab

The maximum temperatures in Haryana and Punjab today settled close to normal levels, a day after the region was lashed by rains.
Ambala in Haryana recorded a high of 34.9 degrees Celsius, down two notches than normal while Hisar recorded a maximum temperature of 38 deg C, down one notch.
Ludhiana in Punjab also recorded below normal maximum of 35 deg C while Patiala's high settled at 36 deg C.
Chandigarh recorded a high of 34.5 deg C, the MeT Department said here.
