Mayor for Jaipur Municipal Corporation to be elected tomorrow

The election for Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) mayor post will be conducted here tomorrow, returning officer (RO) said today.
A meeting of elected members for mayor election will be held at municipal corporation office at 10 am.
The election will be conducted as per section 43 of Rajasthan Municipalities Act 2009 and as per rules of Rajasthan Municipalities Election, 1994, said RO and additional district collector Sunil Bhati.
Voting for mayor election will be held from 2.30 pm to 5 pm and counting will start right after voting process, he said.
Probable candidates in race for the coveted post are Ashok Lahoti, Vishnu Lahata, Satyanarayan Dhamani, Ashok Garg and incumbent deputy mayor Manoj Bharadwaj.
