From Munirka (Ward no 166), which was represented by AAP legislator Pramila Tokas as an Independent candidate, the party has fielded Sunita Tokas.
"The Munirka village has nominated her," Pramila Tokas said.
From Ballimaran (Ward no 86), which was represented by AAP minister in Delhi government Imran Hussain, the party has nominated Mohammad Sadiq as its candidate.
From Salimar Bagh North (Ward no 55), Tekhand (Ward no 199) and Nawada (Ward no 126), the party has fielded Anvika Mittal, Abhishek Bidhuri and Ajay Kumar respectively as the party candidates.
Contesting in 13 wards will be AAP's maiden outing in the municipal corporation polls after the party's stupendous feat in the Assembly election last year when it won 67 out of 70 seats.
The civic bodies are currently controlled by BJP. Fresh full-fledged polls to MCD are expected to take place next year. In January, the Delhi High Court has ordered bypolls to be held at the earliest.
