While the MCD workers refused to call off their strike, they claimed that the LG has assured them of looking into their demands.
"Today we met Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and told him that the funds offered by the Aam Aadmi Party government is not sufficient to pay our dues. Therefore, we are going to continue the strike," said President of Swatantra Mazdoor Vikas Sanyukta Morcha Sanjay Gehlot.
