MDU inks agreement with USA 'varsity

Maharshi Dayanand University today inked a Memorandum of Agreement with University of Massachusetts, Amherst (USA), for academic and research collaboration.
MDU Vice Chancellor H S Chahal and a representative of University of Massachusetts Prof Jack Ahern, President International Affairs, signed the MoA.
Under the agreement, faculty and student exchange will be facilitated.
Collaborative research in the areas of biotechnology, nanotechnology, environmental science, physical and chemical sciences would be carried out, Chahal said.
Ahern said this agreement would benefit stakeholders in both the universities.
