The 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues' actress said she had been talking to Whitney about a potential biopic before the singer died in February 2012, reported Ace Showbiz.
Record producer Clive Davis who was also Whitney's close friend will helm the project. Even Tyler Perry expressed his interest to sit behind the lens should the untitled Whitney Houston biopic come together.
Since Whitney's sudden passing in February this year, a slew of stars have been rumoured being considered to portray the late music icon. Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Vivica A Fox are on the list along with Jordin Sparks, who played Whitney's on-screen daughter in her final movie 'Sparkle'.
