Medium sugar eases on poor oftake

Medium sugar prices moved down slightly at the Vashi wholesale market today due to lack of demand from stockists and retailers.
While, small variety held steady in the absence of any buying activity.
Medium sugar (M-30) softened by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 3,202/3,382 as compared to Thursday's closing level of Rs 3,202/3,386.
Small sugar (S-30) closed unchanged at Rs 3,100/3,202 per quintal.
