Medium sugar recovers on fresh demand

Medium sugar prices recovered at the Vashi wholesale sugar market here today due to fresh demand from stockists and retailers.
Meanwhile, small sugar variety maintained a stable trend in the absence of necessary buying support.
Medium sugar (M-30) climbed by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 3,192/3,311 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 3,182/3,311.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,192/3,311 (Rs 3,182/3,311).
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,066/3,145 (Rs 3,066/3,145).
