"The statements of the government, including the chief minister, on the subject were not credible and thus could not be believed as Mehbooba Mufti, who brushed the issue aside as mere rumours, actually indulged in trying to cover up the entire matter," Hurriyat said after a meeting of its executive council here.
Mehbooba yesterday said no land has been allotted by the government for establishing Sainik Colony and no power can go against the special status of the state.
