Members of Indian, Nepal Army scale Everest peak

Nine members of a joint team of Indian and Nepali Army personnel with a mission of cleaning up the Mt Everest successfully climbed the world's highest peak today.
They reached the summit of the Everest situated at an altitude of 8,848 metre at 9:00 am (local time), according to a press release issued by Nepal Army.
Major Samir Basnet, Captain Kishor Adhikari, Sergeant Gyanendra Loudari, and Corporal Dhiren Shahi are the successful climbers from the Nepal Army side.
From the Indian Army side, Major Ranbir Singh Jamwal, Subedar Mingma Gurung, Havvaldar Sudhir Singh, Havaldar Chatar Singh, and Lance Naik Sukbir successfully stepped on the peak, according to the Nepal Army.
The joint team of the personnel from the Nepali, and the Indian Army also picked a huge volume of garbage accumulated at the base camp and other higher camps for the past one month and brought them back to Kathmandu.
As many as 20 Indian Army personnel, and 14 from the Nepal Army took part in the 70-day Nepali Army-Indian Army Joint Mt Everest Diamond Jubilee Expedition 2013.
Meanwhile, a 33-year-old climber from Mexico, David�Liano Gonzalez, became the first person to double summit Mt Everest in this season.
The summit from North Side is his fifth summit on Mt Everest.�He has climbed the Everest from both South (Nepal) and North (India) sides in this season.
After reaching the summit on May 11 from the South side with climbing Sherpa Samden Bhote, he returned to Kathmandu on may 13 and then reached atop Everesst from North side on May 19 with climbing Sherpa Sirdar Mingma, according to the Asian Trekking, the organizer of the expedition.
