The accused sexually assaulted the girl when she had gone to attend natures' call. The local, who heard the girl's cries, rushed to the spot and rescued here. They nabbed the accused and handed him to the police, an official attached to Hasanparthy police station said.
A case was registered in this regard and a probe is on, he said.
