Mentally deranged man hacks two daughters

A mentally deranged man allegedly hacked his two daughters to dead in Fatehpur district, police said here.
The incident took place last night when Akshay Pratap Singh hacked his two daughters Kashish (6) and Kallo (4) while they were sleeping on terrace of his house in Rampur-Ishakpur village in Kariyaon area of Fathpuer, they said.
The accused also injured his wife when she tried to prevent him from killing their daughters.
He was later arrested by the police.
Singh was discharged from a mental hospital two days back, police said.
