Mentally ill mother batters minor kids to death

A mentally disturbed woman allegedly battered to death her two minor sons in Kashmiri Bagh area of Thakurganj here, police said today.
30-year-old Vimla allegedly attacked her two sons Kamal Kishore (5) and Ram Kishore (3) with a brick injuring them seriously last night, they said.
While Kamal died on the spot, Ram succumbed to his injuries at trauma centre, police said.
The accused woman is undergoing treatment for mental illness at a private hospital, they added.
