Mentha oil rises on increased demand

Mentha oil prices edged up Rs 5 per kg at the local market today due to pick up in demand.
However, other chemicals held steady in thin trade.
Traders said uptick in demand from consuming industries mainly attributed the rise in mentha oil prices.
Menthol crystal bold,flake and oil prices were up by Rs 5 each to Rs 2,065, Rs 1,930 and Rs 1,795 per kg respectively.
