C 63 S is the 10th model launched by Mercedes-Benz in India in the AMG class and is a car with intelligent assistance systems powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine.
The sports car consumes 32 per cent less fuel compared with its predecessors and hurtles to 100 km/ph in four seconds, Mercedes-Benz India said in a statement.
Mercedes-Benz India MD & CEO Eberhard Kern said: "The C 63 AMG has been a legendary sports car, and with the launch of the new generation AMG C 63 S, the success story of the Mercedes-AMG brand will be further rooted in India."
"This is the 10th AMG model we are introducing as there is an increasing demand for our high-end performance cars. The launch of the AMG C 63 S further reiterates our 'top of the pyramid' product strategy which highlights our endeavour in offering the best products from our global portfolio for our Indian customers," Kern added.
