Mercury dipped during day hours at many places in north- eastern regions due to change in upper air cyclonic system bringing moisture, the official said.

Meanwhile, Churu on plains recorded minimum temperature of 8.7 degree Celsius followed by Sikar 9.2, Udaipur 9.6, Sriganganagar 9.7, Jodhpur 12.4, and Jaisalmer and Barmer 14.2 degree Celsius each.
