Mettur Dam inflow rises further

As the inflow continued to increase, the water level in the Mettur Dam today rose by nearly two feet to 68.2 feet as against its maximum of 120 feet.
The inflow into the dam, which has been on the rise in the past two days, stood at 27,442 cusecs compared to 15,060 cusecs yesterday, PWD officials said.
Water storage was 31.175 tmc against the capacity of 93.4 tmc while discharge was 12,500 cusecs.
