The inflow into the reservoir stood at 427 cusecs and the outflow 12,600 cusecs, PWD officials said.
The storage in the dam was 54.662 tmc against the capacity of 93.4 tmc.
The officials said during the year so far the dam had received 144 tmc from Karnataka against stipulated 177 tmc.
They also said the water release for irrigation, usually closed on January 28, might be extended this year.
