Makwana, a 1995 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, is Joint Secretary in Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The competent authority has approved extension of central deputation tenure of Makwana for a period of three months beyond September 15, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.
The Home Ministry is the administrative and coordinating authority for all legislative and Constitutional matters relating to union territories including Delhi.
