Director Michael Bay is in talks to helm '13 Hours', based on the book 'Thirteen Hours: The Inside Account Of What Really Happened In Benghazi' centred around the 2012 Benghazi attack.
The Mitchell Zuckoff novel follows the true story of the events on September 11, 2012, when terrorists attacked a US State Department Special Mission compound and a CIA station in Benghazi, Libya, reported Deadline.
"Bay read a first draft of the script and liked it," said a source.
There is no contract at this time, but Bay is in talks, the source added.
