The 21-year-old singer, who had to cancel her Kansas City show after suffering severe allergic reaction, also skipped her concert in St Louis which was scheduled to take place yesterday, reported Ace Showbiz.
"I can't get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there," Cyrus tweeted.
"The hospital is saying I won't be released today therefore I'm not going to make it to St Louis. I'm so sorry but somethings are out of my control," she added.
Cyrus reportedly was prescribed an antibiotic, which is usually given in the form of brand name Keflex, to treat a sinus infection. This was the first time the singer has been given a prescription for the drug so she was unaware of her allergies to it.
While the shows in Kansas City and St Louis have both been cancelled, Cyrus' representative has said that Friday's show in Nashville would still "go on as planned.
