The documentary, which will be telecast on July 6, follows the 21-year-old singer's behind the scenes on her Bangerz tour.
The tourbegan in April after Cyrus delayed multiple performances due to her illness, reported the Huffington Post.
The show will include live performance footage from her upcoming concerts in Spain and Portugal.

This unique special will offer an exclusive peek on how she engages with her crew and fans at one of her hugely popular concerts," Paul Telegdy, NBC Entertainment President of Alternative and Late Night Programming, said in a statement.
