Army, SSB and police launched a joint search operation in Kindre-Suigarh forests in Doda district, an Army spokesman in Bhaderwah said.
They busted a terrorist hideout from a natural caveand recovered a total number of five weapons and other arms and ammunition, including AK 56 rifle, Chinese pistols, one .303 rifle, one UBGL, two hand grenades, 11 AKmagazines, 5 pistol magazines, 3 radio sets and explosive material along with ammunition of 3 UBGL, approximately 1131 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, he said.
"Apart from the four columns of Rashtriya Rifles, the team also included one ASI along with 10 constables of JKP from Gandoh Police Station and one Assistant Commandant, five constables of 42 Bn SSB Gandoh," SSP Doda Zahid Naseem Manhas said.
