Militants fire at police post

Suspected militants tonight fired upon a police post in Kulgam district of Kashmir but there was no loss of life, police said.
At about 2130 hours, militants fired about 10 rounds from an orchard which is adjacent to the under-construction complex of police post at Mutalhama Qoimoh in Kulgam, a police official said.
A policeman deployed there fired some rounds in the air, he said.
No loss of life was reported in the incident, the official said.
He said the area has been cordoned off and a search is going on.
