Subair (14) and Syed Muhammed (13) along with another boy had gone to take bath and started drowning in a deep pit formed of sand mining, police said.
People nearby reached the spot on hearing the screams of the boy who accompanied them, brought the duo out and rushed them to a private hospital in Kuttiyadi but their lives could not be save, they said.
