committed suicide by consuming poison at Bahupura village here, police said today.
The girl, a school student was found in a field in serious condition yesterday evening. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead, said police.
The minor confessed on the way to the hospital that she had consumed poison but the cause behind the suicide is not yet known, they said.
The body has been sent for post mortem and police is further investigating the issue, police said.
