The girl was rescued from the accused named Akshay Gill at Indra Chowk in Jammu, police said.
Tripta Devi had lodged a complaint at Chingus police post in Rajouri that her minor daughter was kidnapped on May 13 by Gill, a police official said.
A case was lodged and the police sent teams to different locations in Jammu and found the girl held captive by the accused.
After a medical examination and other legal formalities, the police handed over the girl to her parents and continued the investigation in this connection, the official said.
