Minor girl dragged along by car, suffers hearing loss

A two-and-a-half-year-old girl was dragged along by a car for a few metres and ended up suffering hearing loss as an impact of the accident in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj, police said today.
The incident happened on October 19 which was captured on a CCTV camera installed there, they said.
Aashika, was hit by a car, whose number was captured in the footage while she was crossing the road, the police said.
The driver kept on driving while she was dragged along by the car. He stopped the vehicle and later fled from the spot, they said.
No arrests have been made so far in the case, they said, adding the girl suffered partial hearing loss and is still undergoing treatment.
