A 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by three youths of her village, police said today.
The girl, who hails from a village under Kotwali police station area, was allegedly kidnapped on Tuesday and a report was lodged by her parents against the youth, police said.
She was rescued yesterday following a tip off to the police that she had been taken by a car to Dehradun where she was allegedly beaten up for resisting and then gang-raped, they said.
In her statement to the police, the girl said that she had been dumped in Baghpat yesterday by the accused who later fled, officials said.
The girl has now been sent for medical examination and a hunt has been launched to nab the youths, police added.
