Minor girl raped, strangulated to death in UP

A 14-year-old girl was raped, murdered and then thrown in an agriculture field in Gonda district, police said here today.
The victim belonging to Colonelganj police station area was strangulated to death after being raped and then thrown in an agriculture field yesterday, they said.
Post mortem examination has confirmed rape and strangulation, police said, adding an FIR has been registered and investigation is underway.
