The victim, a resident of Ballabgarh's Adarsh Nagar, was alone at her house yesterday when an unidentified man entered and threw acid on her face, they said, adding that her family members had gone to a market when the incident occurred.
Police said that the girl could not see his face as the accused fled the spot seconds after throwing acid on her.
The minor has been admitted to a hospital while police has registered an FIR against unidentified person and started the investigation, they said.
