Minor raped in Faridabad

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man repeatedly over a period of months, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the victim, she was raped by one Sumit Ravidas repeatedly since the last few months, ASI Rajrani said.
A case was yesterday registered with Police Station Sarai Khwaja under IPC section 506 and section 4 of POCSO, police said, adding, investigations are underway in the case.
Meanwhile, a woman was allegedly killed by her in-laws for dowry, ASI Samay Singh said.
According to the complaint filed by Majeed, a resident of Alwar in Rajasthan, he had got his two daughters married to two brothers, Aas Mohammad and Jaan Mohammad, residents of Khori Jamalpur village in Faridabad, Singh said.

Soon after marriage his daughters told him that they were being harassed for dowry. Yesterday, he received a phone call informing him that his older daughter had been found dead, they said.
Majeed accused Aas Mohammad, the woman's husband, brother in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and the uncle of killing her.
A case was yesterday registered with Police Station Sector-55, under IPC sections 304B and 34, they said, adding, investigations are underway in the case.
