raped by a youth at Santosh Nagar locality in suburban Malad here, police said.
The 24-year-old accused, whose name was not revealed by police, was arrested on Saturday.
The accused and the victim reside in Santosh Nagar area and knew each other, police said adding that the incident took place yesterday when the youth took the victim to his house and sexually assaulted her.
A complaint was lodged at Dindoshi police station and the accused was immediately arrested.
The accused, who worked with a private security agency, has been booked under relevant sections of the IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He has been remanded to police custody till tomorrow.
