Minor tremor felt in Banaskantha district of Gujarat

An earthquake, measuring 3 on the Richter scale, tonight jolted many parts of Banaskantha district in the state, officials said.
According to the official website of 'Institute of Seismological Research (ISR), the tremor was felt near Dantiwada and Pathawada, around 23 km north-east from Deesa town, in Bansakantha.
Banaskantha Collector Dilipkumar Rana said there were no reports of any damage.
A team of taluka development officer had been sent to Dantiwada, he said.
