"I have a 10-minute slot on the Kapil Sharma Show on Sony. It's an important phase in my life," Mir told PTI today.
"I will be meeting him (Kapil Sharma) on November 9. I am a fan of his tongue-in-cheek homour," Mir, himself a big name in Bengali reality shows and comedy, said.
Mir will play explorer Christopher Columbus, a role he has essayed in his upcoming 'Colkatay Columbus' (Columbus in Kolkata), in the show.
"No other Bengali film has been promoted on this show before," the actor said.
The Kapil Sharma Show is an Hindi stand-up comedy and television talk series which records attendance by top Bollywood celebrities.
It is a social satire where the world explorer Christopher Columbus arrives in 2016 Kolkata and faces a lot of tricky situations, he added.
