Cole Swindell won the new artist of the year award. Dierks Bentley won the video of the year award for "Drunk on a Plane", reported CBS News.
Little Big Town was announced as the vocal group of the year: Florida Georgia Line, while award for the vocal duo of the year went to Florida Georgia Line.
Vocal event of the year trophy was awarded to Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan for "This is How We Roll".
Luke Bryan, who co-hosted the award ceremony, took home the honour for the entertainer of the year.
