The incident took place last night, police said, adding the injured were taken to a hospital in Safidon.
According to police, a named FIR was registered by one of the injured following which a person was arrested. At least 6 more persons have been booked in this connection.
The arrested man was produced before a court here today and sent to two-day police custody.
After the incident, Senior Superintendent of Police Shashank Anand reached the village along with administration officials and spent the whole night there to keep the situation under control.
SDM Virendra Singh has said that it would be wrong to give any communal colour to the incident and assured that the accused will be brought to book soon.
