Five miscreants with pistols entered the bank as customers and took the branch manager, cashier and the peon, who were on duty at the time of the incident, at gun point and looted the cash.
The bank's branch manager Soma Banra said transactions were taking place and around ten customers were present when the miscreants committed the crime and decamped with the booty.
Superintendent of Police Michael Raj S, who rushed to the spot, said the footage of the miscreants have been captured and assured they would be caught soon.
