Two employees of a retail pharmacy chain were injured after unidentified miscreants allegedly shot at them and robbed them of Rs 40 lakh in northwest Delhi's Wazirpur today, police said.
Police were informed at 12.37 pm about the incident.
Two employees of Sanyog Enterprises Private Limited, identified as Tejpal and Rajkumar Bhasin, were going in a car with Rs 40 lakh cash, which was to be deposited to a State Bank of India (SBI) branch in Wazirpur, the police said.
On the Wazirpur flyover, their car was hit by another car. When Tejpal and Bhasin came out, they were shot at by the occupants of the other car, who fled the spot with the cash, the police said.
