The body of the deceased, identified as one Chunwa, was found yesterday in a pond, police said.
Chunwa hailed from Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal and was employed here at the residence of a farmer, Satpal Singh, police said, adding that he had gone missing on Sunday.
The body has been sent for a post-mortem, they said.
