Robert Van Winkle, better known as rapper Vanilla Ice, says his arrest in an alleged burglary, was due to a misunderstanding, which will soon be cleared.
Ice, 47, faced arrest over accusations of breaking into and stealing from an abandoned Florida home sometime between December and February. He was released from custody on Wednesday, reported BBC.
The 47-year-old said it had been a misunderstanding and "it will all be cleared up".
Lantana police said Ice had been renovating the house next to the property where items had been stolen.
