Mixed trend prevailed

Barring sooji, prices of Tur dal,urad dal,gram dal,wheat and maida decreased while moong dal,sugar increased in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.
Urad dal fell sharply by Rs.300 per quintal to Rs.7,900 from its previous rate of Rs.8,200.
Tur dal,gram dal and wheat fell by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.7,100, Rs.3,800 and Rs.2,300 from its yesterday's rates of Rs.7,200,Rs.3,900 and Rs.2,400 respectively.
Maida(90 kgs) was lower by Rs.50 to Rs.2,350 from its last rate of Rs.2,400.
Moong dal was up by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.9,200 from Rs.9,000.
Sugar increased marginally by Rs.30 per quintal to Rs.3,230 from its last rated of Rs.3,200.

Price of Sooji (90 kg0 ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,100 Urad Dal Rs 7,900 Moong Dal Rs 9,200 Gram Dal Rs 3,800 Sugar Rs 3,230 Wheat Rs 2,300 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,350 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,500.
