Prime Minister designate Narendra Modi today congratulated Odisha Chief Minister Naveen hours after the BJD supremo took oath for the fourth consecutive time.
"Mr Modi spoke to the Chief Minister over phone, congratulated him and wished all the very best," an official at the Chief Minister's Office here said.
While Patnaik was sworn in along with 21 ministers during the day, Modi is scheduled to take oath as the country's next Prime Minister on May 26.
Naveen scripted history by becoming the chief minister
Of in Odisha for a record fourth term.
