As per the plan, all the ministers will hold as many as 21 press conferences in different cities of the country including Jaipur, Guwahati, Jammu, Srinagar, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Patna and Bhubaneshwar.
The exercise will start from May 22 and the ministers who will brief the media include Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Power Minister Piyush Goyal, Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, an official said.
Thereafter, there will be spate of press conferences in the next fortnight.
In the talkathon, a moderator takes questions from social networking websites and it would be broadcast by Doordarshan.
