Modi greets Germany on Unification Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended greetings to Germany on its Unification Day and vowed to strengthen ties with that country.
"My greetings to the people of Germany on their Unification Day. We are committed to further strengthening our relations with Germany," he tweeted.
Germany celebrates October three as the Unification Day, commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall 24 years ago. German unification was a direct result of the peaceful revolutions in Central and Eastern Europe.
