The Derrick Pereira's side bounced back from behind to knock out Mohun Bagan 4-1 from the Federation Cup earlier this season, while in the first leg I-League both teams played out a goalless stalemate with the Mariners raising a hue and cry about a disallowed goal.
With both Bengaluru FC and Royal Wahingdoh winning their respective games, the pressure to remain on top of the table is on Mohun Bagan.
Warning his boys against complacency, coach Sanjoy Sen said: "We cannot afford to drop our guard and are wary of Salgaocar, whom we are yet to beat this season."
Pritam Kotal who returned from his U-23 duties will likely start on the bench.
The two teams had also met in the Federation Cup where the Greens had recovered brilliantly after an early goal, to knock out Mohun Bagan, with the match ending 4-1 as the green and maroon and brigade are yet to beat them.
Mohun Bagan however have been the team to beat this season as they are unbeaten from nine matches for a one-point lead over defending champions Bengaluru FC atop the table.
Salgaocar will have a full strength squad at his disposal as Daryl Duffy has recovered from his groin injury while Gurjinder Kumar will return from suspension.
