MeT Director J P Gupta today said that after heavy rainfall initially, monsoon has become a little weak because of which earlier possibility of rain at most places has reduced.
He, however, said that monsoon could gain momentum in the coming days.
According to the Met office report, light to moderate rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places over the state in the last 24 hours.
Chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms was Naraini 6, Palliakalan 5, Katerniaghat 4, Shardanagar and Kakrohi 2 each.
