The MeT office said Sidhuali received 23 mm, Lahanpur 22 mm, Kheri lakhimpur 19 mm, Shardanagar 13mm and Bareilly 60 mm rainfall.
MeT sources said rain and thundershowers would occur at many places over the state and heavy rain was likely at isolated places in the state in the next 48 hours.
Reports reaching here from Bahraich and Gonda said several villages were facing erosion and district administration was shifting people to safer places.
Yamuna was flowing close to the red mark at Prayag Ghat and Naini while Sharda was flowing above the danger mark at Palia Kalan.
Ghaghra was flowing close to the red mark at Elgin Bridge, Ayodhya and Turtipar.
